YourCloseup.com: 2002 - 2008
From its inception in 2002 until the end of 2008, YourCloseup.com was focused solely on web design for individuals and small businesses.
The company designed and revamped many sites for artists, teachers, management companies, opera singers and other creative people and enterprises.
YourCloseup.com: 2009 - August 2010
In December of 2008, the company landed Arup, a global, multi-billion-dollar design and construction firm, as a client. For almost two years, Laura managed, redesigned and re-organized Arup's Americas Region Intranet, using a combination of SharePoint MOSS 2007 and Adobe CS4 Web Premium software, including Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop and Flash.
Due to the volume of work at Arup, YourCloseup.com phased out all other clients at the end of 2009, and in 2010, Arup become the company's sole client.
YourCloseup.com: Present
When Laura's contract with Arup ended in August of 2010, YourCloseup.com stopped actively seeking clients. However, the company retains the ability to accept corp-to-corp work.
